My husband and I raise AKC and laboratories have used Petsafe wireless systems for years. Our dogs learn quickly when the limit is and have not suffered from any disease affecting this great product. We recommend this product to all buyers of our laboratories. Not only to keep within the boundaries of your garden, which prevents them from being wounded in the vicinity, possibly walking on busy streets. I prefer to be "warned" for a reasonable price "of electricity to be lost to the wheels of a car. So far we have bought 4 of these necklaces, and I ask for today. FYI, the company that makes these necklaces really out of their way to verify that the product is correct and supported its guarantee had a small problem with one of them. They sent me a new necklace and put us back to the old. . . In that order, no questions asked! Very good customer service in today's times! I will continue to do business with them!

OK, here's the deal. The necklace comes with the standard battery usage could be seen in the shop for about $ 5. 00, but Gates decided they could make more money if the battery enclosed in an "easy to replace" cartridge and charge you double the price of regular batteries. I was very satisfied with the life of your batteries and cost, although I love the performance of your system. As a result, I am sure the battery tray so I could remove the battery in it. He found a replacement battery. The cost of a battery for my dog collar was $ 12. 50th I decided to replace the battery inside the sealed unit by $ 4. 00th Needless to say I am a fan again. So here are the tips: take a battery worn on the dog's neck. Carefully file off the plastic rim that contains the battery in the device. Take a needle and forceps to remove the battery and then decide which type of battery. I have two dogs who are using these collars, and have different types of batteries (one is a boxer, the other a mini-Shnauzer). On the other hand, I found that I can change the batteries in one third of the doors asking price to replace the battery. Apart from the question of the battery, these collars and syatems fence awesome!

We had a wireless system PIF near about 3 years and has always worked for us. We recently added a second family dog and picked up an additional collar. Below is a comparison between the original PIF collars and the new:Advantages:- Less weight- Low battery indicator- Several levels of correction- Easy to change battery- Better range *Cons:- Uses its own battery that can not go to fetch at any store that can age the neck (only a problem if you have a pet store near major - who do not).- More features easily replaceable battery, it might mean a bit more things go wrong.- Better range *Well, I made a list of "wider" as good and bad, and it is. This is an improvement on the old neck, so if you change or a new wall system, which is good. If you use this collar in conjunction with a necklace of age when you can expect a dog to have a slightly larger (about 40 meters in diameter) when roaming then the other. We have a big yard so there is not a problem, but in a small farm, I can see where there might be a problem. In short, have an excellent product, good, solid construction, and the wireless PIF scheme has been excellent for us. The new collar has some advantages and disadvantages of the original that came with the system, but most change is good. Collar (and the system itself) is definitely worth the money for its ease of use and keep their pet insurance. Amazon is cheaper than anywhere else I've seen online.
