Overall, this is a great product – very durable and overall less scratching around the collar area. The only negative is the sizing. I would suggesting ordering one size larger than you think you need if you are in the upper bracket.

I was very pleased with the quality of the collar. I purchased the small purple size for my dog. The fleece lining is very soft. So far, my dog has not exhibited any irritation from the collar like he does with typical nylon collars. The metal clasps, fit and finish are all top notch. Much better than what I have seen in my local Pet store franchises. For those people who were questioning why you do not want to use this on a tie out, *NEVER* use any type of neck collar on your dog unsupervised. It can be a choking hazard. If your pet lunges or run’s at something the shock of him hitting the end of tie out can injure or kill them. A harness is much better choice for your pet if you have it on a tie out unsupervised.

Overall this collar is a good concept. Nice fuzzy fleece next to your dog’s neck. However, since my dog needed a size large and is in the smaller range (but too big for medium), most of the collar was folded over on itself and only a very small portion of the fleece was exposed to be against my dog’s neck. Since my dog is done growing, I cut the collar and re-sewed it to make it only for his neck. Now there is lots of fleece against his neck and it seems like his neck irritation has been reduced.
