The description of this product was misleading. It noted that the product was made in
the USA. The product I received reeked like tires and was made in China. I’m returning it.

I have a 4 month old American Bulldog. I bought him this toy, thinking that for a puppy, a medium would last for a good while. I guess that all depends on what you would consider a good while. Does a few hours count? I gave him this squeaker football when I had to throw away another one that he had destroyed after a week. A week was a long time compared to this one. He managed to actually scalp the ball within two hours of my giving it to him. He tore the tennis ball material cleanly off the ball. And consider that my puppy has started losing his baby teeth, so he doesn’t have all that many teeth right now to begin with. It truly was a waste of money. The Hartz moose stuff doll I bought him has lasted for almost 2 months with no damage and he tears into it all the time. These squeaker tennis material toys are a waste of money if you have any type of strong chewer. Go for a Hartz dental chew bones or even one of the Air Kong stuffed animals – they will last a lot longer than this.

I love kong toys. I have three german shepherds and bought three large footballs. The first day all of the covering was torn off of one of them. The second day, the second cover was half gone and the actual ball was split. The third is still squeaking but the cover is almost off. They LOVE the toys, but do not let them out of your sight for a minute because they are easily devoured.

My corgi loves his football, but did tear off every scrap of yellow felt, and also broke the squeaker. He does this to all his toys, but it did take him a bit longer with the Air Kong football. He still loves it, and carries it around working his jaws like he’s chewing gum.

My greyhounds LOVE any toy with a squeaker, but they have managed to destroy them all. Being a Kong, I thought we might have better luck with this football, but within the first hour of play, one of the dogs managed to puncture it and the squeaker. The football is still intact sitting in their toy basket – they haven’t torn it apart, but they also really aren’t interested in playing with it since it doesn’t squeak. I don’t see how the squeaker could be replaced either.
