My Collie doesn’t like this toy and has only ever had it out of her toy box once and then it just sat on the floor. Would not recommend it to anyone else.

My dog loves the traditional Kongs where you can put food or peanut butter in for them to play with, so I thought she would like this. She had chewed off the ends in literally one minute and I had to throw it away. I have a call in to The Kong Company to complain.

I purchased one for my lab when she was 10 months old because all other toys she would tear apart within the first 10-20 min. Now she is 3 years old and each time I bring this out to play fetch her eyes light up with joy. The “jumping jack” style of this toy is simply the best because it bounces around making her work a bit harder with each fetch. After the first one I was so pleased that it lasted over 3 months that I went back and bought 3 more thinking that she would eventually tear them apart…nope. The first one I threw out only because it had become too dirty from constant use, the present one is holding up very well & I still have two more new ones left! The only one problem was the squeaker, her strong jaws and ability to figure out weak point gave her the up-in-up to find out how to kill it within the first week for each one I gave her. She still loves the toy regardless. Since my experience with this toy I have purchased a few other Kong toys that have also lasted for a very long time.

Great Kong toy in the tennis ball mode. That said, don’t ever leave it with my 95 pound Lab, Apollo. When I left the room for 5 minutes I returned to a destroyed toy. I realize it is an interactive toy so don’t make the same mistake I did and leave the area. He has the Kong tennis football which he absolutely adores!!! He can’t sink his teeth into that…..yet.

My 4 LARGE dogs just love all the versions of this product (donut, barbell, jack, bone, long tube, etc.). These dogs are chewers. They will rip the molding right off the walls and the tile off the floors if they get bored, so I keep plenty of toys around. These stand up well to chewing, incessant biting to hear the squeaker, rolling in the mud, and the squeaker never dies. Even my cats love them – they love to grab onto the tennis ball-ish fuzzy cover and kick and bite away. Only one barbell got destroyed after being out in the elements constantly for about a year (extreme heat, sun, lots of rain, and humidity of the deep south). It finally split and then dogs had at it. I hope they never stop making these.
