However it does seem well built, and is easy to use. Mostly just to expensive to keep loaded with chews if your dog only likes new smells or eats them quickly. He chews on the "bone" part as he trys to get to the rawhide discs. Eventually he will work hard enough to get the discs worn down and off. I keep this toy for times we can't walk or exercise him or when I have to be on the computer for a couple of hours. He's choosey and isn't interested in the toy if the rawhide dics aren't attached. He HOWLS when we give it to him. When I put a new chew on one of the ends he carries it around for about 20 minutes howling until he settles and chews it. It is hysterical - he doesn't react to anything else like that. I don't know if he thinks it's too good to be true, that he's actually allowed to have something so good. It will keep him busy for about 40 minutes. The best chew toy ever - he's barely made a dent in the ball.
