Finally a toy that my 6 month old Yellow Lab cannot destroy! Huck is a solid 4" ball type toy that amuses my pet for hours and still looks new. With its design it can be easily carried, thrown and bounced forever. One tough toy!

These are great toys if your Dog has a tendancy to chew alot. They are virtually indestructable. My bulldog/boxer mix loves it.

Believe it or not, my dog isn't a large destructive type breed. He's a cute little Boston Terrior name "Neutron" who manages to destroy most any toy within 10 to 30 minutes. 5 minutes for a cloth toy. 3 years ago I bought the West Paw Zogoflex bone, after reading all the reviews. It's still around with no damage. That's what prompted me to buy the Huck. It's just as great and he loves playing fetch with it. I can't believe how much money went in the trash for all the other toys that got destroyed. These are the best dog toys ever!

We have a French bulldog who is an insane chewer. He can gnaw through a medium sized Kong in about a month. I was skeptical when I got the Huck--would it really last? 6 months later and it's still a usable toy (not to mention a favorite). Our dog loves chasing it. The grooves make the bounce unpredictable, so it's even more entertaing for the dog. We will definitely be buying more of these!

"You should take this one...." said the helpful person at the Humane Society.

He was as cute as a puppy could be and very friendly. I wanted a Lab, he was listed as a Lab mix and he sure looked like a Lab, so we took him home.

Fast forward one year:

The DNA tests were inconclusive, but there wasn't enough Lab in him to register. He is "among the 15% of dogs in the U.S. that are so mixed as to be unidentifiable." Hhhhhmmm.... We are the proud owners of a 36 pound unidentifiable force of nature.

We no longer have grass in our back yard, just mud and holes. The grass has been systematically removed. Toys that lasted though my 120 pound (all muscle) Lab and our Husky/Shepard mix have been destroyed with malice. The crate that my Lab enjoyed traveling in has been scraped thin on the sides and the door has rusted from exposure urine and saliva. Our brand new leather loveseat has a chew hole in it. The comforter on our bed it in shambles. The birds and squirrels that once frequented our yard have vanished, although there are more flies now... Toys that were lovingly purchased for this creature, Kongs, Nylabones, tennis balls and knotted ropes are gone within a week.

So, it was with little hope that I purchased the Huck. The material felt too soft to hold up, but it seemed like The Spawn of Satan would enjoy it while it lasted. Joy!!! We're a week in and it is still intact! I think part of the success of the toy is that it gets very slippery from saliva and the dog's teeth tend to slide off. I could see how very sharp puppy teeth could dissect this material, so it is probably better for adult dogs.

I plan on purchasing the Tux next. Should be fun to watch them go after the treat. I won't be purchasing the Hurley because the bone shape would simply encourage chewing and I'm sure it wouldn't last very long once that started.

Five stars for the Huck. I'll write a review of the Tux once the dogs have tested it.
